Understanding Remote Check Deposit Services

M&T Bank’s Remote Check Deposit (RCD) services are governed by the standard Treasury Management Services Agreement. Clients must use an Approved Scanner for RCD services. M&T may cover the cost of purchasing an M&T Purchased Scanner for clients under the Agreement. However, if the RCD services are terminated for any reason (except by M&T without cause) before the six-month anniversary of service commencement, clients must reimburse M&T for the cost of the scanner.

Verification and Availability of Funds

All deposits are subject to verification, and funds from mobile check deposits may not be available for immediate withdrawal. Be aware that deposit limits, terms, conditions, fees, and restrictions may apply. A business day is defined as Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
