Last Ember is a single-tower roguelike survival game that blends idle progression with strategic tower defense. Darkness has devoured all light. Your mission is to protect the Core Ember—the glowing guardian at the center—from infinite waves of shadow monsters.

[Darkness, Sight, & Strategy]
The core illuminates its immediate surroundings. Enemies outside the light appear only as dim silhouettes or threat markers, revealing their details (HP, tier colors) only when they step into the light or take damage. Read the battlefield and adapt.

[9 Unique Weapons & 3-Way Evolutions]
Your weapons fire automatically. Combine lasers, orbital nodes, gatling guns, novas, fields, seekers, lock-on beams, the piercing Glave, and the chain-lightning Tesla to create synergistic builds. Every weapon features a 3-way evolution path, offering 27 unique advanced variants to dominate the screen.

[Dual-Path Critical System]
- Critical Chance: Starts at 5% every run. Can only be boosted temporarily during the run via draft upgrades.
- Critical Damage: Permanently upgraded by collecting and merging cards in your out-game inventory. It scales infinitely based on your card collection level!

[Core Ladder & Overcharge Ultimates]
Swap your Core to completely change your passive traits and ultimate. Tap to trigger "Frenzy" to overclock all weapons, detonate a screen-clearing "Supernova", activate a protective "Aegis" shield, or trigger "Time Slow" to freeze threat movement.

[The Spark Economy for Survival]
Fallen enemies drop Sparks. Absorb them to trigger instant survival tactics: restore your Core HP (Heal) or deploy an emergency Shield. Alternatively, pause and open the Spark Shop to purchase guaranteed weapon cards, bypassing random draft RNG.

[300 Phased Waves & Endless Scaling]
Survive the 301 phased keyframes (0 to 300 minutes) to enter the Endless Mode, where enemy HP, speed, and spawn volumes scale dynamically to test your limits. Collect Ash from each run to upgrade your stats permanently and dominate global leaderboards!
