How the Game Works

To kick off the game, one player creates a room and shares a unique 6-character invite code. Once everyone joins online, the game discreetly assigns the role of the Impostor. The remaining players, known as Civilians, must work together to expose the liar through clever questioning and engaging discussions. Each round culminates in a vote, where every decision holds significant weight.

Two Unique Game Modes

Word Mode — Guess the Word

In this mode, all players are presented with the same secret word, while the Impostor receives only a vague hint or no clue at all. Players take turns providing associations without directly naming the word. After three phases of guessing, the group votes on who seems uncertain or who might be over-explaining. This classic guessing game is filled with bluffing and misdirection, making it a thrilling experience.

Question Mode — Guess Who Got a Different Question

In Question Mode, every player receives the same question, except for the Impostor, who is given a completely different one. The host reads the question aloud, and players respond, attempting to blend in seamlessly. After all answers are given, it’s time for a heated debate and a vote. Will your poker face be enough to keep you safe? This mode is all about improvisation and the tension of a spy game.

Scoring System

The scoring is straightforward: if the Impostor wins the round, they earn 2 points. If the Civilians successfully expose the liar, each of them receives 1 point. A running scoreboard is displayed after every round, making it perfect for competitive game nights with friends.
