About the HAIKYU!! Animation Series

“Bringing together all that was practiced (our youth), to the promised land…”

HAIKYU!! stands as a highly esteemed title within the sports manga genre. Created by Haruichi Furudate, the manga began serialization in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shōnen Jump” magazine in February 2012. It quickly gained popularity for its portrayal of the youthful passion of high school students dedicated to volleyball. Over its 8.5-year run, the series concluded in July 2020, with a total of 45 volumes published and over 70 million copies sold. The TV animation series premiered in 2014 on TBS TV, produced by Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS), and continued until December 2020, resulting in four seasons of captivating content.
